Injured Benjamin Sesko to Miss Slovenian National Team Games but United Hopeful of Swift Return
Striker Sesko will miss out on the Slovenian national team's forthcoming matches versus Kosovo and Sweden due to a knee problem sustained during the latest match at Tottenham. Nonetheless, Manchester United remains hopeful that he could return soon enough to play against Everton after the international break.
Knock Details and Recovery Period
The forward was substituted after 87 minutes of Saturday's 2-2 stalemate against Tottenham having been brought on on 58 minutes for Noussair Mazraoui. Manager the team's manager expressed concern post-match, leading to Sesko's withdrawal from the Slovenia national team.
The club will conduct additional examinations at their Carrington facility in the coming days, but initial assessments suggest a possible recovery in time for the Everton match on 24 November.
Other Squad Updates
Casemiro and Harry Maguire also were forced off the field during the Tottenham encounter. Although Maguire's condition is yet to be determined, it is believed that the midfielder is available and has joined national team commitments with Brazil.
MartÃnez, who has not played after suffering a knee issue back in February, will join the Argentine squad at their European training camp. However, the center-back will not feature in the Friday friendly versus Angola in Luanda. A member of the club's medical staff will accompany MartÃnez, who recently resumed work with the first-team group.
